Our Events

At HIM we run weekly church events as well as conduct formal study opportunities. If you live in the community of Mt Morgan in Central Queensland, you are most welcome to join with us in any of our events or meetings. We encourage you in this.

Weekly House Church

At HIM we place a great emphasis on informal fellowship as well as the importance of meeting together as the Bible says we should. We meet together weekly for the importance of learning about God's word, fellowship with one another and obedience to Christ.

We take great joy in being able to meeting weekly "house church style" where we relax over coffee and God's Word. In this generation, many people have become disillusioned with formal Christianity, and we believe that meeting in the way we do is attractive, and non threatening, and helps to build not only God's Kingdom, but also our lives and our faith.

Please meet with us weekly at Footbridge Corner, Mt Morgan at 10:00am. This is the purple Centrelink building on East Street. You are most welcome.

Weekly Prayer Meetings

Prayer is undoubtedly the most important part of our lives as believers. At HIM we would say that without prayer, we are unable to succeed at anything we are meant to achieve. Because of this we pray often individually, and we pray together. If you would like to join us in weekly prayer, contact us to find out more information.

Bronze Medallion Classes - Koinonia Institue

Are you interested in a disciplined study of the Word of God in an International Classroom? I am looking for Expressions of Interest for a Class to take through to the Bronze Medallion stage with the KI (Koinonia Institute) of which I am a TA (Teaching Assistant)

I would love to encourage you through the 4 main courses for the Bronze. They are:

  1. Spiritual Disciplines which is a back to the basic and a call to discipleship. It will give you a look at your Jewish Roots and what it means to be a Talmidim. (disciple)
  2. The Old Testament Survey will give you an overview of the Old Testament emphasizing the integrity of design.
  3. The New Testament Survey will give you an overview of the New Testament exploring the claims, reality, and mission of Jesus Christ and to provide an initial exposure to eschatological (study of end times) controversies.
  4. Prophecy 101 will be our final class which is an introductory review of the Bible Prophecy in four parts: The Nature of Prophecy. Prophecies Past, Prophecies Future, and Prophecies Present.

The whole process will take 1 year; and there is a cost involved, both time and financial.
Time: approx 3-4 hours a week.
Cost: $250
